Yesterday, Atwater’s funeral casket store (California Casket Company) vacated its current location at 3153 Glendale Blvd and moved into its new location at 3229 Glendale Blvd, just a block away. In a procession of empty caskets movers rolled the store’s inventory of funeral caskets down Glendale Blvd to its new location… much to the surprise of local merchants and pedestrians.
Atwater’s casket store decided to move to a smaller location when their landlord raised their rent to a rumored $4,500.00 a month.
