Recently, Christ Church (3853 Edenhurst Ave) in Central Atwater had an attempted break-in. The Church’s pastor informed me he found evidence of a brick and a smashed windowsill, to gain entry to the Church either Mon or Tues night. The burglar(s) did not gain access to the Church.
In the past two months, three residents with burglary incidents have contacted me. Fortunately, no one has been harmed as they are all petty crimes. I have forwarded all correspondence to our Senior Lead (Gina Chovan) who is on top of the situation.
Please help to keep an eye out for one another. I cannot stress enough, know your neighbors, make note of their habits and if you see something suspicious call your neighbors, Northeast Station (213-485-2563 or non emergency- 877-275-5273) and contact me. Together WE keep us safe.
I also have gotten complaints of the food cart on Larga and Fletcher as well as the cart on Fletcher and Ripple. call the Health Dept. @ 626-430-5500
