6/9/2013: BlackRock Institute survey: EMEA: August 2013

BlackRock Investment Institute released its latest Economic Cycle Survey for EMEA region.
 Note: my note on survey results for North America & Western Europe is available here.

Per summary: "... this month’s EMEA Economic Cycle Survey presented a generally bullish outlook for the region. 

The consensus of respondents describe Slovenia, the Ukraine, Croatia, Egypt and Russia currently to be in a recessionary state, with an even split of economists gauging Slovakia to be in expansion or contraction. Over the next 2 quarters, all these countries are expected to stay in a recessionary state except Russia, Slovakia and Croatia. 

At the 12 month horizon, the positive theme continues with the consensus expecting all EMEA countries to strengthen or remain the same, with the exception of the Ukraine and Turkey."

The BlackRock Investment Institute Economic Cycle Survey : EMEA Aggregate Results were published recently, so here is the update.

Note: the views expressed in the survey are those of the external panel of economics and finance experts and not of the BlackRock Investment Institute.
The results of the survey must be viewed as being subject to the depth of country-level responses considerations, as these can differ widely.

Per the results: "this month’s EMEA Economic Cycle Survey presented a generally bullish outlook for the region. The consensus of respondents describe Slovenia, the Ukraine, Croatia and Czech Republic currently to be in a recessionary state, with an even split of economists gauging Slovakia to be in a expansion or contraction. Over the next 2 quarters, the consensus shifts for all these countries, except the Ukraine and Slovenia, towards expansion.
At the 12 month horizon, the positive theme continues with the consensus expecting all EMEA countries to strengthen, with the exception of Kazakhstan and Turkey."

In comparison, "Globally, respondents remain positive on the global growth cycle, with a net 68% of 62 respondents expecting a strengthening world economy over the next 12 months - this is marginally lower than from a net 70% in last month’s report."

Vremea Meteo Harta turistica Insula Krk

Insula Krk, cea mai mare insulă din Croaţia, este aşezată în golful Kvarner şi este legată din anul 1980 de partea continentală prin podul Krk. Insula Krk are o suprafata de 410 kilometri patrati, aeroport propriu precum si cateva porturi din care pleaca curse regulate catre insulele invecinate. Capitala insulei este orasul Krk, iar principalele statiuni sunt Omisalj, Malinska, Njvice , Baska, Silo, Klimno, Dobrinj, Selino.

Baska este cea mai cunoscuta statiune din insula Krk. Statiunea este asezata intr-o vale lina, intr-un golf inconjurat de maslini si podgorii. In fundal se vad muntii Velebit. Plaja de 2 km, clasificata cu Steagul Albastru European, cea mai frumoasa dintre plajele Adriaticii, "Vela Plaza" se afla situata chiar in centrul orasului si este inconjurata de restaurante, cafenele si hoteluri. Plaja naturala din prundis este ideala pentru copii.

Silo este cea mai mare statiune de pe Insula Krk. Plajele curate cu intrare lina in apa, terenurile de tenis, volei pe plajă şi posibilitati multiple pentru practicarea diverselor sporturi nautice sunt citeva din atractiile statiunii Silo. Epava vasului Peltastis - naufragiat in anul 1969 - se gaseste in imediata apropiere a plajei si este unul din locurile preferate pentru amatorii de scufundari.

Punat, situat pe coasta insulei Krk, adapostit de golful Punat, se recomanda cu strazile cochete si inguste din partea veche a orasului, plajele naturale si livezile cu pomi si cranguri de maslini. In mijlocul golfului Punat, pe insulita Kosljun, se poate vizita manastirea franciscana din secolul XV, care detine o colectie etnografica pretioasa si o colectie de obiecte religioase.

Zrce Beach live webcam Novalja Insula Pag litoral Croatia

Novalja, al doilea oras ca marime al Insulei Pag, este situat pe partea vesticã a insule, pe malul Marii Adriatice. Zrce Beach, - Ibiza Croatiei, este considerata una din cele mai faimoase plaje ale Europei, in fiecare zi atmosfera fierbinte de pe plajã este asiguratã de 3 cluburi mari(Papaya, Aquarius, Kalypso), petrecerile incep in fiecare zi ora 16:00 si tin pana in dimineata zilei urmatoare.
