Hello Friends!

Tomorrow (Saturday 10/23) we will be working in the Reading Garden from 9am-12pm . Our primary focus will be laying pvc pipes for irrigation. Most of the digging has already been done! We also have landscape fabric to place in the garden boxes in preparation for real soil in the coming weeks.

Please join us! If you have gloves, shovels, hacksaws and/or trowels, please bring them but we do have some extras. And... it should not be raining and won't be hot.

See you tomorrow!

Atwater Elementary Volunteer Opportunities

Hi All,

I hope this finds you all well and enjoying the beautiful weather! I have gotten lots of emails lately from people wondering how to get involved and volunteer. I wanted to tell you all about a couple of opportunities to do just that!

First of all, our Volunteer Center is open and running. If you have a free morning on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 8-10am we would love to have you join us for some xeroxing, stapling and gluing fun! There's always a pot of coffee on and some goodies so please check your schedules and let me know when you would like to come volunteer.

Next it's almost time for the Spring Book Fair! The Fair will be open from April 19-23 and we will need volunteers that whole week. The shifts are 11-1 during lunch and after school from 2:30-3:30. It's a lot of fun and a great way to get involved. Please let me know if you are interested in taking any of these shifts as well.

Please keep an eye out for our upcoming newsletter with this and more information and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks so much everyone, have a great day and I look forward to seeing you all soon!
