Daily Briefing, 9/21/12

Good morning and happy Friday! Today is officially the last day of summer, although it may not seem like it outside.

We would like to thank everyone that came out to the New Member Orientation and the networking mixer at Moravian Hall Square last night. It was a terrific event in a beautiful space and we were happy to see so many people turn out to network at Business After 5. The next signature networking event will take place on October 18 at Sam Adams Grill at Holiday Inn.

Have you ever wondered who was the artist behind the amazing creations featured on the Fegley's Brew Works bottles? Now you know. The iPhone 5 was released today, and retail stores across the world (including Lehigh Valley Mall) saw Apple fans lining up in droves to be the first to have the newest smartphone.

What is a neighborhood council? We are a publicly elected group of involved, concerned citizens who advocate on behalf of our stakeholders to our City Officials. We want to involve Atwater Villagers in the decisions that are made regarding our community. We want to help Atwater Village become safer and cleaner, see that our kids get the very best education, and make sure our businesses are given every opportunity to succeed and thrive.
