UPDATE: FLETCHER DR AND ATWATER AVE SEWER REPLACEMENT PROJECT

The City of Los Angeles (Department of Public Works – Bureau of Engineering Emergency Sewer Division will soon replacing a damaged sewer on Fletcher Dr and Atwater Ave. The work should begin the week of August 16th, 2010 and last for 2 months.

During the next 6 to 8 weeks:

“No Parking” signs will be posted along Fletcher Dr between Larga Ave and Perlita Ave, and on Atwater Ave between Minneapolis St and Carillon Street to accommodate the construction. Any Vehicle parked in the “No Parking” zones will be towed at the owner’s expense.

• Monday thru Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the intersection of Fletcher Dr and Atwater Ave
•  
• Monday thru Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm on Atwater Ave
•  
• There will be two traffic lanes open, on Fletcher Dr, one on each direction.
•  
• No left turns at this intersection during construction
•  
• Contractor will work with the business owners and the residents as much as possible to allow access on to their driveways
•  
• Contractor will steel plate the intersection at the end of the working day to allow traffic flow
•  
• There will be noise and dust during construction
