If you’re bored of the Election Campaign and still in need of a political fix then don’t fear our AM’s are back at work in the Assembly today after their Easter Holidays, although i have heard that some of them are complaining because they want to carry on campaigning rather than getting on with their work in the National Assembly, not a smart move folks.
Apart from the Lib Dems I guess Labour are the happiest about this new situation because a Labour/Liberal Democrat Coalition is almost a cert for next years Assembly Elections, it leaves Plaid Cymru in need of a rethink and what will happen to the Welsh Tories who have also been squeezed.
But before all that, in the Chamber this afternoon we’ll see how each of the parties handle the new political realities at First Minister Questions because despite all the hype the Liberal Democrats are still the fourth party in Cardiff Bay and even with a huge swing to them on May 6th they are unlikely to get to get more than one or two extra seats at Westminster, it sounds like good case for electoral reform.Any source
