Rose Scharlin Cooperative is proud to present Taste of the Eastside 2011, an inaugural event uniting LA's Eastside communities through a lively afternoon of food, drinks, and music.  Join us in the beautifully scenic hilltop garden at Barnsdall Art Park and sample the enticing flavors of local restaurants from neighborhoods around the Eastside including Silver Lake, Los Feliz, Eagle Rock, Echo Park, Atwater Village, Highland Park, and more.

We're pleased to welcome KCRW's Garth Trinidad as he delivers a unique fusion of world rhythm and beats.  For VIP ticket holders mixologist Talmadge Lowe of Heirloom LA and Pharmacie will be setting up his mysterious roving cocktail experience. 

A special thank you to Intelligentsia Coffee, Eagle Rock Brewery, and Silverlake Wine along with our city councilmen, Eric Garcetti (Council District 13) and Tom LaBonge (Council District 4).

Participating restaurants include community favorites such as Elf Cafe, Cookbook, Local, Little Dom’s, Pazzo Gelato, Reservoir, Gingergrass, the James Beard award-winning Yuca's, the beloved Auntie Em's, Malo, Hugo's Tacos, and Madame Matisse just to name a few.  Even more amazing venues are in the works, so check back to the website for updates!
