CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATE LOOSES NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL ELECTION BID


L.A. City Council (CD13) candidate Rueben Martinez lost an October 6th election bid for the Atwater Village Neighborhood Council. Martinez, an incumbent on the neighborhood council board, garnered 31 votes of the total 127 ballots casted.

As a long time Atwater resident Martinez ran for one of the two available positions for “South Atwater Residential Rep”, along with 5 other candidates. Martinez lost to newcomer Courtney Morris and incumbent Ginger Damon.
