Did you witness a bike accident on 11/20/2009?
Approximately at 8:00am on Friday, 11/20/09, an 18 year old male and Atwater Village resident was riding his bike going southbound on Fletcher Drive. An unknown vehicle was recklessly driving side by side with the biker going 25-30 mph. The unknown vehicle sped up not allowing the biker to have the right of way causing the biker to hit a parked U-hal truck. The unknown vehicle fled the scene without seeting the condition of the victim who was lying on the ground helplessly. The victim suffered a concussion, bleeding in the brain, severe fractures to his skull and reconstructive surgery to his face. The victim is currently in ICU recovering from his injuries.
The accident was reported on the corner of Fletcher Drive and Larga Avenue on 11/20/2009, Friday morning. On behalf of the victim we need your help to bring the unknown driver to justice.
