Holyrood is a Scottish current affairs and political magazine, published fortnightly by Holyrood Communications a Scottish newspaper and publishing company and available via subscription, it mainly covers the goings on in the Scottish Parliament as well as political interviews and opinion pieces on Scottish politics.
The magazine also has an online presence with free articles, a blog and a host of free digests on issues from Scottish local government, the health service, environment, education and business and the economy. They also arrange conferences on hot issue such as Youth unemployment and integrating healthcare as well as providing a daily political round up from the news from across Scotland.
There’s nothing there that couldn’t be replicated for Welsh politics and who knows it might generate some interest among voters as well as politicos, as well as offering another level of scrutiny to the Welsh Assembly and Welsh Government, after all Holyrood Magazine is available in the National Assembly for Wales Library, so someone is Cardiff Bay sees value in a regular Welsh current affairs and political magazine – do we have any takers?
