Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Vice Speaker of the State Great Khural (parliament) R.Gonchigdorj Wednesday met with Mr Kgalema Motlanthe, the Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa.
The Vice Speaker expressed a gratitude to the Deputy President for paying the official visit to Mongolia and informed him that a Mongolia-Africa inter-parliamentary group has been set up in parliament under leadership of TS.Tsolmon, a head of the parliamentary Standing committee on security and foreign policy.
He also said Mongolia has a willingness to collaborate with South Africa by sharing parliaments' experiences and to learn the South African mining sphere and its legal regulations.
In response, Mr Motlanthe thanked the Vice Speaker for the warm audience and said the two countries can develop their cooperation, and supported vice Speaker's proposals and initiatives.
