Daily Briefing, 2/16/2012

Good morning everyone!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

The Lehigh Valley has quite a bit of road work coming up this year.  In Allentown, City Council voted to reject a contract for a Waste-to-Energy project.  The Southern Lehigh School District has named Leah Christman as its new superintendent.

In national news, Congress came to a final agreement on a payroll tax cut.  The Chief of the World Bank, Robert Zoellick, has stepped down.

We have two Chamber events today, both free: a mixer at the Allentown Art Museum and the Lehigh County State of the Country address.

And that's it for now!  Have a good one.
