Daily Briefing, 3/13/2012

Good morning everyone!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

Congressman Dent (R-15) will endorse Mitt Romney's for President.  Whitehall Township has appointed a new police chief, Linda Kulp; Kulp is the Townships' first female police chief.

In national news, Presidential primary's are being held today in Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.  The Obama administration has blocked a new voter ID law in Texas, sighting concerns that it would disproportionately affect Hispanics.

We have four Chamber events today: an event on marketing to Hispanics, a Legislative Reception with Congressman Tim Holden, a look at the Governor's budget proposal and a State of the Township event in Forks.

And that's it for now!  Have a great day, and we'll be back later.
