Daily Briefing, 3/5/2012

Good morning everyone, and a happy Monday to you!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

In state-wide news, Jason Altmire is facing a touch ballot challenge to stay on the ballot in the race against Congressman Mark Critz for the 12th Congressional District.  A ruling on the case is expected today.  In national news, a group of anonymous lawmakers is working on a "grand bargain" to reduce the national deficit by raising revenues and cutting entitlement spending.  Tomorrow is Super Tuesday in the race for the Republican Presidential nomination; 10 states will cast their votes.  In world-wide news, Vladimir Putin was reelected to the Russian Presidency but multiple allegations of election fraud have been made.

Business Matters airs tonight at 8pm on WFMZ-TV, featuring a one-on-one interview with the Reverand Jesse Jackson.
