According to a new poll, an overwhelming majority of Lehigh Valley residents think that the proposed Allentown arena would be a good thing for the Valley. The Sands Event Center officially opened in Bethlehem yesterday to an Incubus concert.
In state-wide news, PA Transportation Secretary Barry Schoch and the Majority Chair of the House Transportation Committee, Rick Geist, spoke at the Chamber's Transportation Luncheon, where they were urged to make desperately needed improvements to Pennsylvania's transportation system.
In national news, there is good news in the national housing market: fewer homes were foreclosed upon in April.
