In state-wide news, a lawsuit has been filed that challenges Pennsylvania's recently passed Voter Identification law. The Pennsylvania House will be voting on legislation that closes the so-called Delaware Loophole which allows corporations that do business in Pennsylvania to register in Delaware and thus avoid Pennsylvania's Corporate Net Income tax.
In national news, President Obama made a surprise trip to Afghanistan yesterday, where he signed a pact that pulls American troops out of the country by 2014. The Dow Jones Industrial Average hit a four-year high yesterday. Newt Gingrich has formally dropped out of the Presidential race.
