Good morning everyone!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

Vice President Joe Biden spoke at Lafayette College yesterday.  More than 80% of the businesses in the Allentown Neighborhood Improvement Zone failed to file their NIZ paperwork on time and were thus fined by the Commonwealth.  Allentown City Council appointed Joe Davis to fill a vacancy yesterday.  The Morning Call saw its Sunday circulation expand.

In state-wide news, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives voted yesterday to close the Delaware loophole and reduce Pennsylvania's Corporate Net Income tax.

We have two Chamber events today: our Cinco De Mayo Fiesta and an Open House at the Shoppes at 3900.

And that's it for now!  Have a good one and we'll see you later.
