Daily Briefing, 5/4/2012

Good morning everyone!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

Governor Corbett visited Pratt Industries in Lower Macungie yesterday.  Sy Traub, the head of the Allentown NIZ Authority, has proposed removing tax incentives for businesses that are recruited from within the Lehigh Valley.  Northampton County passed a non-binding resolution yesterday that called for the NIZ to be repealed.  In state-wide news, Pennsylvania collected more revenue than budgeted in April, reigniting discussions on what to do with the extra money.  Today is a big day in economic news, with an April jobs report set to be released.  In other news, Michelle Bachmann endorsed Mitt Romney.

And that's it!  Have a great weekend, and we'll see you on Monday!
