Daily Briefing, 7/16/2012

Good morning everyone!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

Lehigh County Commissioners have signaled their desire to get more involved in federal funding decisions next year.  Another storm knocked out power to about 6,000 Lehigh Valley homes late last night.  In Easton, the city is looking to plug a $500,000 budget hole with a new commuter tax and other cost-saving measures.

That's it about it today; another slow Monday.  Stay cool out there, and have a great day!
