Daily Briefing, 7/20/2012

Good morning everyone!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

According to the Chairman of the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (Tony Iannelli, The Chamber's President & CEO), Queen City Airport cannot be sold due to restrictions from the FAA.  Northampton County Council has voted to ban engaging in future swamption bonds.

In national news, a mass shooting at a movie theater in Colorado during the premier of Batman has left 14 people dead and another 50 injured.  For the first time, the Pentagon is allowing U.S. service members to march in their uniform at gay pride parades.  Gas prices are on the rise again.

We have one event today: the Phillipsburg Ole Towne Festival.
