COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Discover Lehigh Valley is looking for a full-time Communications Manager. The Communications Manager shall be responsible for assisting the Executive Vice President in the daily responsibilities of promoting Lehigh Valley through Discover Lehigh Valley. Under the direction of the President, Executive Vice President and Director of Marketing, this person will assist in formulating and implementing public relations and social media strategies to successfully further the mission of Discover Lehigh Valley.
This person must be highly proficient with computers and have a working knowledge of software programs (such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and others), e-marketing, SEM management, and social media technology skills. This person must be visionary and possess excellent written and verbal skills, an understanding of Lehigh Valley and an enthusiastic personality.
The individual in this position must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a vehicle for transportation to job related functions and events. Minimal travel and overnight trips may be necessary.
