Atwater’s Neighborhood Council (AVNC) will be considering another $5,000 funding request from the Independent Shakespeare Company (ISC) to help fund a non-Atwater event.
The ISC is working to raise over $240,000 to pay for expenses related their annual Shakespeare Festival in Griffith Park. ISC is seeking help in paying for over $140,000 in salaries and employee benefits; along with $90,000 in other production expenses.
If approved it would be the 3rd time that the AVNC has contributed funds to ISC's Shakespeare Festival.
