Following the Liberals' deleted e-mail trail

TORONTO - Zap and just like that, all memory is gone.
Senior staff in former premier Dalton McGuinty’s office deleted all e-mail trails as they quit Queen’s Park.
And it’s not front-page news?
Through freedom of information legislation, New Democrats asked for every document from the premier’s office that contained the words “Project Vapour” — one of the code words used in the cancellation of the Oakville and Mississauga gas-fired power plants.
Here’s what they heard: The Premier’s chief of staff, Chris Morley, had his e-mail account deleted on June 21, 2012.
Jamieson Steeve, the former principal secretary, had his e-mail account deleted Aug.17, 2012.
Sean Mullin, the premier’s energy advisor, had his e-mail account deleted Aug. 17, 2012.
How very convenient — for them.
