下岩樣竇採樣(inferior petrosal sinus sampling, IPSS)

因為腦下垂體從這條靜脈輸出，所以可以測到相對於周邊較高的ACTH量
若是外源性腫瘤則直接分泌高強度ACTH到周邊
a. 靜脈對周邊ACTH比值(IPS to peripheral ratio of ACTH) >2 →中樞高，周邊低 →判斷為small pituitary tumor MRI上看不到小腫瘤，因此直接切掉測出來比較高的那一側腦下垂體
b. 靜脈對周邊ACTH比值(IPS to peripheral ratio of ACTH)<1.8 → 中樞低，周邊高 →判斷為ectopic tumorHomeAny source
