Inner Mongolia Holds Women's Aerobics Contest
A women's aerobics contest was held in Hulun Buir, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, on September 24, 2013, to promote women's fitness and health.
Aerobics fitness training courses launched in May 2013 laid a solid foundation for the success of the contest and over 140 contestants from 12 cities participated in it.
Teams from Hulun Buir, Baotou and Chifeng finally won the first prize for ethnic aerobics and the first prize for square aerobics was claimed by teams from Wuhai, Hulun Buir and Baotou.
Vice President of Inner Mongolia Women’s Federation Zhang Shuhua and officials from the Inner Mongolia sports bureau attended the open ceremony and watched the contest.
The contest was jointly organized by the Inner Mongolia Women's Federation and the Sports Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
The participants visited women and senior citizens in health communities in Hunlun Buir and Hailar on September 25, 2013, discussing their ideas on fitness and health.
