MONGOLIANS CLOSE THE JUDO GRAND PRIX WITH 3 "BRONZES"

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian team has won three bronze medals at the Judo Grand Prix.

The events ran September 28-29 in Almaty, Kazakhstan with a participation of 152 judokas from 13 countries.


Our team consisted of six male and one female athletes.


On the first day of the tournament, a Hero of Labor, Honored athlete H.Tsagaanbaatar won the first "bronze" in the men's 73 kg, then G.Odbayar and B.Batgerel came fifth in their categories.



B.Batgerel, in the men's 66 kg, lost to Belarusian and Russian judokas in silver and bronze medal matches. Another Mongolian G.Kherlen, who competed the same day, became the seventh.


On the second day, O.Uuganbaatar (men's 81 kg) and E.Enkhbat (men's 100 kg) won other bronze medals each. O.Javzmaa (women's -78 kg) came the fifth, losing to a Kazakh in the bronze medal match.
