PRESIDENT ATTENDS HONORARY CONSULATE OPENING

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ While being in the USA with working visit, the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj last Saturday participated in an opening ceremony of the Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Chicago, Illinois.

Apart of the State Head, present at the ceremony were B.Altangerel, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the USA, other officials, and Chicago-based Mongolians. The leader of Mongolia expressed a hope that the Honorary Consulate will enhance a protection of legal rights of the Mongolians in Illinois state and will expand the Mongolia-USA cultural and economic cooperation.

After the ceremony, the Honorary Consul of Mongolia Mr William G. Pintas took up his office.

Born in 1960 in Chicago, Mr Pintas graduated from the University of Miami majoring in business in 1981, and gained a master degree on law at the Thomas M Cooley University in 1984. In 1985, he founded "William G. Pintas & Assoc" company on legal advice and advocacy, and established the Pintas & Mullins Law Firm in 2007 after joining with the Laura Mullins advocacy company.
