Council has decided to further investigate a potential noise bylaw.
Staff have also been directed to continue discussions with other municipalities interested in working collaboratively on the issue.
Councillor Warren Howard says a recent court decision shows there is “legal basis” to move forward but cautions the document must be developed “absolutely correctly”.
Howard stresses the importance of ensuring it can withstand challenges.
