A Renewable Energy Approval (REA) has been issued to Vineland Power Inc. to engage in a renewable energy project in respect of a Class 4 wind facility consisting of the construction, installation, operation, use and retiring of up to 5 turbines, rated at 1.8 megawatts (MW) generating output capacity, with a total name plate capacity of 9 MW. The wind facility will be connected to Hydro One’s distribution system.More information on the project can be found at the West Lincoln Wind Action Group
This Class 4 wind facility, known as the HAF Wind Energy Project, consists of areas required for the wind facility components, as well as for the interconnection route. The wind facility is located at 9556 Sixteen Road, Lot 20, Concession 6 in the Township of West Lincoln, Regional Municipality of Niagara.
