PREMIER MEETS WITH SPEAKER OF SOUTH KOREA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A meeting ran Monday between the Prime Minister of Mongolia N.Altankhuyag and Mr Kang Chang-hee, the Speaker of the National Assembly (parliament) of the Republic of Korea at the State House.

Thanking Mr Kang for visiting Mongolia, the Premier expressed satisfaction with a way the bilateral relations are widening in all spheres at a comprehensive partnership level.

The Premier also highlighted an importance of intensifying the economic cooperation, augmenting trade and investments, creating a mechanism for holding talks at a governmental level on specific matters such as developing the mutually-beneficial cooperation.

In order to fulfill these goals, the Premier suggested that an intergovernmental trade and economic cooperation council is set up or a consultative meeting is co-organized, and asked the Speaker to back these ideas.

Mr Kang said he is attaching a great importance to this visit.
