Don’t feel much in the mood to blog at the moment, but this is worth highlighting Arian Cymru's website their aim is ‘to seek viable alternatives to an unsustainable debt based economy and to increase understanding of the financial system in general.
With its focus firmly on Wales in the world, it will seek to start this by encouraging discussion on issues such as a public Bank of Wales, more effective help for businesses, complementary currencies and other forms of viable alternative banking.’
They are running an event on 26th September called ‘Banking & Economics Regeneration in Wales (BERW)’ featuring Ann Pettifor of Prime Economics/New Economics Foundation and Marc Armstrong (Public Banking Institute, USA) among their speakers.
