He's hosting a fundraiser at the Forrest Lucas estate in Carmel on October 1 where most of his pay-to-play backers reside. Sponsors and hosts are putting up between $1,000 to $5,000 a couple to put on the affair for VIPs. The lowest price tickets cost $100 for a general reception where the plebes will be admitted. The fundraising solicitation indicates that Marty Obst, the GOP fundraiser tainted by his association with John Bales, is responsible for putting on the affair.
