Skype 4.2 per Linux rilasciato

Microsoft ha quest'oggi rilasciato la nuova versione di Skype per Linux.

Skype 4.2 per Linux va a correggere numerosi bug e ad introdurre alcune nuove funzionalità (la lista completa la trovate più giù) ed è consigliato per questo l'aggiornamento. Curioso notare fra le migliorie la voce New sizes for the Skype icon probabilmente legata alla vicenda dell'icona di Skype aggiunta da Canonical su Ubuntu 13.04 e poi rimossa in seguito a proteste da parte di Microsoft.

Se siete utenti Ubuntu e derivate il pacchetto da scaricare è Ubuntu 12.04 (multiarch) che va bene da Precise in su :)

Altra nota importante prima di scaricare Skype se siete su Ubuntu o Debian. Alcuni utenti potrebbero avere problemi audio durante le video chiamate, in questo caso è possibile risolvere installando il pacchetto

PS: Come sempre, se siete su Kubuntu, vi consiglio di usare gdebi-kde per installazione del DEB di Skype 4.2
