Government Relations Intern:
The Government Relations Division of the Chamber is the voice of Lehigh Valley businesses in government. We address issues of concern to business on the local, state and federal levels. We take proactive measures to ensure that government considers business objectives and viewpoints. We keep members informed of relevant issues through our newsletters, and committee and council meetings.
The best candidate for this position has a good working knowledge of current Lehigh Valley leaders, legislators and upcoming legislation. You must display a high level of professionalism, have excellent interpersonal skills and top-notch personal presentation. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is a must (Word, Excel, etc.) and internet search skills are preferred.
