The Lehigh County Commissioners' appointments committee declined to make a recommendation to the full board yesterday on a replacement for Don Cunningham, setting the stage for a Commissioners-wide vote next Wednesday. John Reynard has been nominated by local Democrats to replace Patrick Slattery on the ballot as the candidate in the 134th Legislative District.
In state-wide news, a Morning Call story notes that Mitt Romney's campaign is not yet advertising on TV in Pennsylvania, though it is in other states, making some question if Romney will compete in Pennsylvania this year.
