Daily Briefing, 5/29/2012

Good morning everyone!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

Mayfair in Allentown suffered another difficult year thanks to the weather and may not return next year.  In state-wide news, a new plan is being pushed to privatize Pennsylvania's liquor stores.  In national news, a group of lawmakers are working on making the Simpson-Bowles deficit reduction plan become reality.  A new analysis by the Associated Press shows that seven states are deadlocked and will likely decide the 2012 Presidential Election.

We have one Chamber event today: a mixer at Jessica's Tea Room, held by the Northampton Area Chamber of Commerce.
