Daily Briefing, 6/27/2012

Good morning everyone!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

A "sting" on Lehigh Valley realtors showed that realtors treated clients that were identical in every way, save for race, differently, with Hispanic families steered towards Allentown and white families guided away from the city.  The reporting done on the Amazon warehouse in western Lehigh County has earned the Morning Call and reporters Spencer Soper and Scott Kraus national recognition.  The Easton Area School District decided yesterday not to renew its Superintendent's contract.  Lehigh Valley International Airport cannot sell land fast enough to pay off $16 million in court mandated debt.  Christopher Thomforde, President of Moravian College, has announced that he will retire at the end of 2013.

We have one Chamber event today: the Northampton Area Chamber of Commerce is holding their annual Iron Pigs night.

And that's it!  Have a great day, and we'll see you later.
