Atwater Avenue Elementary School is a Kindergarten through 6th Grade elementary school, Title 1, in the heart of Atwater Village. Steeped in history (founded in 1922) and deeply interwoven with generations of local families and local businesses, our 380 students and 70 staff are a richly diverse community, spanning a myriad of cultures, languages, races, religions, economical and social backgrounds. Our school motto is: BE RESPECTFUL, BE RESPONSIBLE and BE SAFE. We, the Atwater Family, proudly share with you our many successes and highlights including:
