ATWATER’S NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL SEEKING TO FILL VACANT BOARD POSITION

Atwater’s Neighborhood Council reports:

Interested in joining the Atwater Village Neighborhood Council? We are looking for a new board member!

 

We have an open seat for our Church/Religion Representative. Interested parties must meet these requirements: A stakeholder who lives. works, owns property, or declares a stake in the NC and affirms a factual basis for it who is 16 years or older. The Church/Religion role represents churches and religious institutions within the neighborhood.

 

The process for filling the vacant seat can be viewed in the AVNC bylaws at http://www.atwatervillage.org/bylaws 

 

Leaving the seat after 6 years of service to the neighborhood council is Bruce Fleenor, Pastor at Christ's Church of Griffith Park. While we are sad to see Bruce go, we are excited to open this opportunity to interested stakeholders who may have missed the chance to run in the general election back in October of last year.

 

Any interested parties should email their interest or any questions to Board Secretary - Mario Cardenas, by Monday Feb 11th at Mario@atwatervillage.org. The board will review candidates at the Feb 14th board meeting.
