T-MOBILE SEEKS TO INSTALL A 38 FEET HIGH 12-PANEL WIRELESS / CELL PHONE ANTENNA IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ATWATER VILLAGE SINGLE-FAMILY HOME RESIDENTIAL AREA

T-Mobile is seeking a Conditional Use permit (Case no.: ZA-2009-3053-CUW) to install, use and maintain an unmanned wireless telecommunications facility (cellular tower) atop of an apartment building located at 3272 Atwater Avenue, in Atwater Village. The apartment building is located just across the street from Atwater Avenue Elementary School and is surrounded by single-family homes.


The cellular tower will include a total of 12 panel antennas that will reach a maximum height of 38 feet 6 inches within 3 antenna sectors within 240 square feet of leasable area atop the roof of the apartment building. And appurtenances (4 radio equipment cabinets) mounted to a concrete plinth at ground level with 196 square feet of leasable area.
