The Los Angeles Fire Department asks for your help in supporting a "Benefit Bake Sale" this Friday, October 28, 2011, at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills. All proceeds are to benefit one of the hospital's own Emergency Room (ER) Nurses and a young mother of two children. "Nurse Donna" has been an employee of the Holy Cross Medical Center for several years and has always been a tremendous help to all in our community, including LAFD members that frequent her ER. Now she and her family need our help! "Nurse Donna" has recently been diagnosed with a very serious form of cancer, in its advanced stages.
