Daily Briefing, 9/6/2012

Good morning everyone!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

In Allentown, City Council revealed yesterday that the city has thus far spent at least $237,000 on the proposed water & sewer lease agreement.  Also in Allentown, Councilman Mike Schlossberg resigned from Allentown City Council in preparation of his upcoming unopposed election to the State House (full disclosure: that's me).

In national news, believe it or not, early voting has begun in North Carolina, the first state where this is the case.  Bill Clinton spoke at the DNC yesterday.

We have one Chamber event today: a free mixer at Martin on Main.

That's it for now!  Have a great day, and we'll see you later.
