AVNC Board Members Lance Sandman and Amador Solis missed another Board meeting despite recent Bylaws changes intended to curb absenteeism . Sandman failed to attend the September 5th, 2009 board meeting, while Solis failed to attend the October 8th, 2009 board meeting. To date both have failed to attend a total of 5 out of 10 Board meetings this year.
Other Board members that have failed to attend regularly scheduled meetings this year include Fernando Dejo-Grundy (absent 5 times) and Lenore Solis (absent 4 times). This does not included the number of meeting missed by these board members since the Board was installed in October 2008.
The AVNC Board meets regularly once a month, on the 2nd Thursday of each month. The meetings are held locally at Christ’s Church in Central Atwater Village from 7pm to 9pm.
