The Northeast C-PAB will elect their board officers (Co-Chair, Asst. Co-Chair, and Secretary) on Monday, December 14th. The new board officers are expected to serve a one year term starting January 2010. Click here for NE C-PAB bylaws (pdf file). Only C-PAB members are eligible to vote.
The Northeast C-PAB is an advisory board comprised of Northeast Los Angeles stakeholders (residents, businesses, etc…) with an interest in crime prevention and public safety issues. The C-PAB meets monthly to discuss how the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD Northeast Area) can more effectively police the communities within the Area and how the citizens of the communities can work with the LAPD Northeast Area to positively affect the quality of life in the communities.
The Northeast area includes the communities of Atwater Village, Cypress Park, Eagle Rock, East Hollywood, Echo Park Elysian Valley-Elysian Park, Franklin Hills, Garvanza, Glassell Park, Hermon, Highland Park, Los Feliz, Mount Washington, Silver Lake and Solano Canyon.
